Light & Motion Launches Small-Parts Storefront
Light & Motion, a leader in bicycle lighting solutions, announces the introduction of their new web-based storefront, designed to service retail customers seeking replacement parts for their existing light systems.
Light & Motion’s Marketing Coordinator, Jason Lombard, oversaw the implementation of the new site and sees it as a huge benefit for consumers and dealers alike. “This is a huge step forward for us,” says Lombard. “It’s yet another way that we are trying to make small replacement parts more accessible to our end customers.”
Light & Motion’s award winning bicycle lighting systems will continue to be available exclusively through the IBD channel, as well as select online retailers. “We’re committed to our dealers,” adds Light & Motion Sales Manager, Eric Squires. “Sometimes all a customer needs is a replacement Break-Away Disk after a crash—it’s a $2 part. Our priority is to make sure that selling Light & Motion light systems is one of the most cost-effective uses of the dealer’s time.” Squires went on to add, “We’re taking steps to get the customer back on the road, continuing to route profitable sales of complete systems through our dealers, and helping to facilitate some of the customer service needs related to small-parts. It’s a win for both sides.”
The Light & Motion ecommerce site went live on July 18th, 2007, and can be accessed at http://www.bikelights.com/Store.
