Have you been sitting on the nightriding fence because of sticker shock? The Vega should get you off the fence. This little light uses the most of its three watts and throws a beam you'd swear was closer to an eight-watt system. It has low, medium and high settings. The battery is good for about two hours if you leave it on high. While not packing the raw power of Light & Motion's bigger systems (their ARC line) our Vega weighed a mere nine ounces with mounting bracket (that's a pound less than bigger lighting systems) and gives off plenty of light for serious night rides. Endurance racers take note: the Vega will take weight off your race bike and should provide plenty of light on courses you are familiar with. If you want a psychedelic night ride, set the Vega's beam on flasher mode.
