Mounting:

All Solo Logic Mv lights come with both our elegant multi-adjustable “Lefty” mount and an over-sized (25.8-31.8) compatible bar mount as well as our super adjustable and rugged Cabeza (helmet) mount as standard.

Forget about the debate about which is best; helmet or handlebar mount? Decide for yourself. It is as easy as removing a screw and switching mounts. Both our helmet and handlebar mounts also feature our neat break-away disks which means even if you don’t see that low hanging branch, or nasty rut, your light head won’t take the punishment. The Solo Logic Mv is a perfect match for today’s high performance road bikes and for commuting. For 2004 we’ve made our most reliable and practical light even more functional; with the introduction of Mv technology, the Solo Logic will work with any of the batteries in our line-up. From the compact 7.2v all the way up to the light weight powerhouse 11.1v Li-ion Lithium Ion battery pack. You get the same light output, with dramatically increased burn times. Super light weight combined with our innovative “Lefty” mount , an adjustable bezel, 3 power output settings and multiple battery compatibility means you can dial in just the right amount of light for blasting down single track, or the long grind home.

Side Windows:

Light heads can be viewed from up to 300 feet from the side for better safety, also makes reading your cycle-computer easier.

Soft Start:

Although rare, sometimes turning on a light with a freshly charged battery blows the lamp. Our soft start feature controls the voltage at start up and lengthens lamp life.

Reserve Mode:

Batteries don't like to be fully drained. (Who does?) The LED’s on the Solo Logic light head flash with about 15 minutes left and then drop the power into low power, 6 watt mode. Just before the battery would be damaged, the system shuts down and cannot be re-started until a fresh battery is attached or the depleted one is recharged.

Charging:

The Light & Motion Solo Logic Mv comes optional with our Industry leading Turbo Charger. The Turbo Charger quickly charges your battery in 3.5 hrs. Its dT/dt (Change in temperature/change in time) circuitry ensures optimal battery life by not overcharging the cells. A single green LED indicator signals fully charged state. After charging is complete the batteries can be left on the charger indefinitely to maintain their maximum charge state. Additionally, the Turbo Charger accepts wall voltages from 90-260 volts, so charging in the United States as well as internationally is not a problem. A 14hr trickle charger is also available if you already own one of our systems with the Turbo Charger. Hint: If you attach the trickle charger to an inexpensive wall socket timer you can avoid leaving the battery on charge too long.

Water bottle cages are becoming valuable property these days especially on the new generation of full suspension mountain bikes, so we eliminated the need to use one to carry our new battery. Whether you mount it on the top tube, seat post, or slide it easily into your jersey pocket, or hydration pack our 7.2v NiMH battery is incredibly small yet powerful.
